1988 featured some of my favorite albums from rock artists like Maiden, Ozzy, and Van Halen. This is the year along with '89 where you'll see more glam rock more than any other year. It was the final eruption of the genre that would exhaust all its energy before being overtaken by the Seattle wave of alternative rock. Early Soundgarden is just getting started in this year.
