Sarah McLachlin is one of my favorite artists. She uses the piano (likely my favorite instrument) with her angelic voice to touch us. I remember hearing the Fumbling... album and thinking now this is different, this is deep stuff. The Surfacing album picked up the pace a bit with some powerful tracks like "Building a Mystery" and "Sweet Surrender." But it's Afterglow, that's a perfect album. Every single song! She's kept going too with a few more great albums since then, but Afterglow, wow, oh wow. McLachlin's "Winter Song" from her holiday album is also one of my all-time favorite songs ever composed!
