 Starting out the week with the Red Hot Chili Peppers! This is a historical playlist from oldest to newest, over 40 years of material since 1984. Many hardcore early fans walked away after the early 90s, but for every one of those they lost they gained a thousand. Their music evolved as they matured. By the Way is their peak masterpiece in my opinion. It's my favorite RHCP album, but they never disappoint. I always look forward to a new album from this band. But you know what, they would've been much more powerful as a five piece if they had kept Josh. They also made two beautiful albums with him, and they could've done new things, so I'll never understand that decision. I liked the two double albums they last released but they felt stunted without that missing piece. Go forward and keep changing.
