Here is a sampling of my favorite punk bands. I lean toward the more melodic "pop" punk. There are some great punk covers of pop songs in here too. I'm still exploring and learning the genre, thanks to a good old childhood friend of mine who has a massive record collection, encyclopedic knowledge, eclectic taste, and solid recommendations.
