Here are my favorites from the band Dishwalla with their founding lead singer JR Richards, who we'll come to several times later in the year. The band has continued on without Richards, but I haven't followed their newest album. The classic line up only had four studio albums in ten years starting in 1995 and then one live album. The last two studio albums from the 2000s are like listening to Greatest Hits albums; I actually thought they were some kind of compilation because each and every song is just so great. The saddest thing though, most people know Dishwalla for their debut album and hit single "Counting Blue Cars." Why stop there? They surely had their small loyal following, but the later songs should have been all over the radio and TV. The music business had grossly changed by the 2000s though. The culture of music had too. Now you have to find your best music.
Opaline from 2002 is the album with the most tracks represented here, so I'd have to conclude that this is my favorite Dishwalla album, and one of my all time top 100 albums of all time.
