Susanna Hoffs

Susanna Hoffs is so much more than that foxy twenty-something who sang "In Your Room" and "Walk Like an Egyptian" in the 80s. She's also that foxy twenty-something who sang ""Eternal Flame" and "Manic Monday" in the 80s! In all seriousness though, Susanna is forever young and still at it writing and making meaningful music in the 2020s. Her 2012 solo album Someday is among my favorites and has folksy roots and reminds me of 70s folk-pop. After sharing tracks from her latest two solo albums, this album takes a dive through the Bangles hits before returning back to her solo albums to conclude this playlist. Her solo albums now outnumber the ones she did with The Bangles.  Hoffs is a voice to remember, and she's still just as foxy at 66 years old.
