Poison

  Here's a band that has lived off their early music for forty years. They made good music. They really did. But what happened? Sadly, it's all just been about touring and nostalgia for the past several decades. Yet, their live tracks sound outrageously bad and the one show of theirs I attended was a shitshow. Maybe the good producers wouldn't work with them anymore. 

This playlist is in order by my top 20 favorites with #20 being my favorite. As you'll see, Flesh and Blood is my favorite Poison album. It's a near perfect album and many of the songs crowd the top 5 and 10. However, it's the Richie Kotzen track "Theatre of the Soul" that takes my favorite spot from the lesser known album Native Tongue. It went in a deeper direction than all of their other songs. Kotzen only stayed for one album and went off to do many many more things on his own. He actually likes to create new music. That's the real stuff we'll get to later.
