This playlist features my favorite guitar work by Vito Bratta, who was one of the most skilled 80s rock guitarists to come around. He's a fellow New Yorker, and ALL NY metalheads know this guy's name. After a string of hits and four solid albums, Bratta walked away from it all. Touring the world, writing and making music, living the dream, and he then he just walks away. I'm sure he has a good reason, but wow, that's a story we may never hear. Bratta retired and is rarely seen in public these days.
Later on, I'll come back to the White Lion singer Mike Tramp who has gone in a different direction with his solo music. But this one's dedicated to Vito.
